This consumable series of books was designed fo parents to assist their children through the early rudiments of piano education. The terminology used should be accessible for young students to understand. Children as young as four or five can begin lessons at the Primer Level. Level 1 would be considered for a first grader, but will also be accessible for the later beginner. The books graduate by levels, making it easy for students follow a structured regiment. With the exception of the Primer, each level should take about one year to complete. Each level should be completed before going to the next. Parents with no or limited musical background are encouraged to use these books with a qualified piano teacher. The Piano Lesson may be used to satisfy fine arts credit within the student's core curriculum. For more detailed information, please read through the section
The Home School Manual will assist parents and qualified individuals to instruct their children in piano through Level 4. It is not advised for any individual without a formal music education to continue past this level.
